ANU MBA Acceptance Rate

The Australian National University (ANU) will accept all international equivalents and Australian qualifications that meet or exceed the requirements of its programs. However, other admission requirements must also be met in order for these to be considered.

The 7-point Grade Point Average is used by ANU to evaluate the quality of the applications that it receives. This common scale will help determine if an applicant meets the university’s admission requirements. For more information about how this metric is calculated, check out the ANU website. This evaluation ensures that the best application receives admission to the University making the acceptance rate about 35%.

Extra activities 

The ANU Students’ Association is the peak body for all students. It represents all ANU College students.

If you’re an undergraduate student or a student at ANU College, then you’re automatically a member of ANUSA. The organization is known for its annual social event, O-Week. Besides this, it also helps organize other events on the ANU calendar.

The ANUSA is composed of 40 student representatives and a team composed of professional staff members. These include a lawyer and two student assistance officers.

The goal of the ANUSA is to represent the interests of its members in the University. Its constitution states that the organization aims to promote and develop the interests of its members.

The organization also aims to provide its members with the necessary resources and representation to improve their social life. Its three pillars are advocacy, welfare, and social.

Eligibility and Requirements for getting into ANU MBA

Eligibility

  1. The minimum academic requirement for the ANU MBA program is a degree from an Australian university with a minimum of 5.0 or higher GPA or an international equivalent to it.
  2. Gmat score of 600 or higher
  3. A successful candidate for the program who has successfully completed the Evidence-based Management EdX MicroMasters program can achieve at least 70% in the final exam.
  4. The minimum work experience requirement for the program is five years. This includes at least three years of management experience.
  5. English language Test scorecard
    IELTS– 6.5 or more
    TOEFL– An overall score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening.
    PTE Academic– Overall score- 64, a minimum score of 55 in each of the communicative skills.

ANU MBA Deadlines

The MBA program begins in February each year. Applications for the second semester are not accepted by the University.
The results of the first and second rounds of the application process will be provided a month after the closing dates of each round. The third round will be held in early February 2023, and the results of that round will be available for the start of the next semester.

What if a candidate meets the minimum eligibility requirement?

After passing our Eligibility Check, you will move to the next step, where you will be ranked against other eligible applicants for your preferred program. Once you reach the ranking stage, you will be notified about the results of your application and will be given an opportunity to study at ANU.

Can someone apply without holding the necessary English language requirements?

Although you must meet the English language requirements by the deadline of the application, you can still apply for the first intake round if you are not satisfied with the documents provided. This will give you the best chance of getting an offer to study at the university.

While completing an undergraduate degree at ANU, can students apply to study postgraduate courses?

In order to apply to ANU, students must have completed five of their six semesters in a three-year degree or seven of their eight semesters in a four-year degree.

Does the tuition fee for international students waived off by Australian National University?

No, full tuition fees need to be paid by the International students and are not subsidised by the Australian Government.

Is there an application fee at Australian National University?

There is a non-refundable application fee of AU$100. The ANU processing fee is required with each application form submitted. Applications cannot be processed without the ANU processing fee.
