Two letters of recommendation are required, one of which should be from a current employer. Choose people with whom you’ve had a lot of professional interaction, such as your boss or a key client.

Title of your recommender is not really important. However, the recommender must be aware of your strengths and weaknesses. It would be highly helpful if he could talk about how valuable you are as an employee, your professional success, personal traits and interpersonal abilities at the workplace.
