In all, it was a satisfying experience wherein I was able to complete my applications in a short time. I started with my applications around late December, and the deadline was for early January I think. January 3rd for HEC and January 9th for ESSEC and ESCP was also around the same time. So I think within a short span of almost 2-3 weeks all my doubts and all my concerns around my applications I was able to complete it in a very very short time. That wouldn’t have been possible if I wouldn’t have Rohit or MiM Essay team as a whole. The sample essays sent by MiM Essay are especially very good because their explanations were of great help. When you go through them, you get a great idea of how to structure your essays and how you have to go about it. Because I had no experience in applying or writing an international application. Indian Applications are kind of different from what international applications are so it was of great use.
The best part was that my counsellor, Rohit, was always willing to help clear my doubts over issues other than the application. Rohit was very kind enough to pay attention to my life experiences in detail and helped me structure my answers accordingly related to my life experiences. It was a very personal journey and it also helped me realise more about myself. The mock interviews were another great thing because the Indian interviews are more academic if we talk about MBA as such. But the interviews I gave for ESSEC and for ESCP were very different, no academics as such. It was more about they wanted to know more about me, which is very rare in Indian interviews. So, I think it was another great feature and really helped me. These are the broad things. The personal touch given by MiM Essay, their sample essays, their willingness to listen to you everything combined, it has been a great experience. And it has been really worthwhile and it has been very fruitful for me as well cause not only have I got admission but I also got a Charpak Main Scholarship.
I really liked the insights given to me personally by Rohit. I did not just discuss the applications as such or the questions mentioned in the application. I also used to have my doubts about life in Paris, about opportunities in Paris and a lot of other things. He was very calm, very patient in answering each of my questions. So I think that was one very important factor which made me very comfortable, and also realised that yet, I can be there, and yes it will be a great experience for me. Getting selected and pursuing my Master in Management over there. Also, Rohit’s suggestions and inputs have been very helpful. They have provided me with plan B and helped structure my answers really better.

Looking back on it, it is a pretty cheap price to pay in order to get into your dream school. I would advise anyone to get helped by MiM Essay, they can only strengthen your file. Of course one will still need to manage the interviews and exams, but the file is extremely important and usually the first step before getting invited to interviews. I actually applied last year to ESCP Europe, and I wasn’t invited to the interview stages: my file was not strong enough: I can literally see the impact that MiM Essay had on my application. I would definitely recommend anyone to work with MiM Essay, it is worth ten times its price.
My overall experience with MiM Essay was a very eye-opening experience. I had many doubts regarding my SAI application and Aman was very helpful in clearing all my doubts and making sure my application displayed my maximum potential. In the SAI application, one has to make an impact within 4-5 lines for each essay. This was personally a daunting task, as compressing points wasn’t easy. Aman had provided various insights and suggestions on how I could go about the essays and make them stand out in those 4-5 lines. The templates provided for the resume proved to be good references as well.
Since I was nervous initially in taking up their service, I had a call with Abhyank and he had explained how the entire process works and I really felt confident after that call. Also, each doubt, no matter how small or big, was cleared. The mock interviews had been a life-saver as my initial mock interview was not so great, but thanks to their inputs, I was able to answer all the questions during my interview as many questions had previously been covered during the mock interviews.
