Program and Curriculum of Columbia University MS&E

This program’s year-long Operations Consulting component allows students to work directly with industry customers to address their business and operational difficulties. While taking classes, students choose from three to four consulting assignments to obtain industry experience. The MS&E program consists of three semesters and may be completed in one calendar year. Students begin the program in the fall semester and can finish by the end of August the following year.

      Eligibility

      Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a reputable university.

      The minimal requirement for admission as a graduate student is a bachelor’s degree from an authorized university. The candidate will have majored in the topic of graduate study in most situations. However, training in a related field of engineering or science is permitted in other cases. The candidate will be admitted if their undergraduate record shows that they will be able to undertake productive and effective graduate work.
