Students do an industry internship as a capstone experience, during which they work on a project as part of ENGG 390: Master of Engineering Management Project. Engineering, management, or both can be the focus of the internship. Students manage a real-world project and apply engineering problem-solving abilities while working in an industrial setting throughout the training. Students collaborate with the sponsor and earn course credit, so they must meet a variety of demands and expectations throughout the internship. Students present the results of their internship assignment to a professional evaluation board when they return to Dartmouth.
