Students pursuing the Specialized Master in Finance program undergo a business project phase for a minimum of 4 months. The intent is to enable students to gain crucial professional exposure in the relevant finance functions. The orientation to organizational functioning prepares the individual for full-time jobs after the program has been completed: several organizations consider this internship as an evaluation opportunity before recruiting.

Students participate in investigative and analytical research from mid-April under the supervision of a professor which will contribute to the writing of their professional thesis. The MS Finance thesis takes the form of a research article that conforms to the standards of academic journals. This thesis is a vital part of the curriculum as it contributes to the refinement and continuation of students’ learning. The subject chosen is approved in advance, and the students undergo methodological training. The thesis is presented before the jury between the beginning of November and the mid of December.
