How is Harvard 2+2 MBA program different from a regular MBA?

Unlike a traditional MBA program, the 2+2 program targets college students, allowing them to secure a spot at Harvard Business School early in their academic journey. It requires at least two years of professional work experience after graduation before commencing the two-year MBA program. This deferred admission approach provides participants with a valuable blend of real-world experience and academic rigor.

Harvard 2+2 MBA Program

The Harvard 2+2 program offers a unique pathway to the prestigious Harvard MBA degree for high-potential college students. This innovative program is distinct from a regular MBA in several ways, providing an exciting opportunity for aspiring leaders to kickstart their career journey.

Focus on diversity & inclusion

The 2+2 program strongly emphasizes diversity and inclusion, actively seeking applicants from underrepresented backgrounds and industries. Preference is given to individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, first-generation college students, and those planning to work in industries traditionally underrepresented in business schools, such as operating companies, entrepreneurship, and technically demanding roles.

Innovation & leadership development

Participants in the 2+2 program are encouraged to be innovative thinkers who demonstrate leadership and analytical skills. The program fosters a dynamic learning environment where students can develop their knowledge and passion to make a meaningful impact on the world. Through a combination of coursework, experiential learning, and networking opportunities, students are equipped with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in today's fast-paced business landscape.
