Interview questions are something that no one can already be prepared for. While you can find a lot of similar questions in most interviews, top-ranked schools are often expected to present candidates with interview questions that may come as a surprise.
The Kellogg School of Management also aims to find out which candidates are the best suited for their MBA program through their own set of interview questions. These can either totally be generic questions or sometimes may include questions that you would not have expected at all.
A distinctive aspect of Kellogg's MBA admissions process is that every applicant is given the opportunity to interview, which is usually conducted off-campus with a Kellogg alumnus. However, candidates also have the option to interview with a member of the admissions committee in-person or via Skype.

Kellogg Interview Tips
- Interviews at The Kellogg School of Management are mostly blind, which means the interviewer only has your resume. So, you can re-use content from your application in the interview as well.
- Providing detailed explanations on why you are interested in Kellogg, its clubs, courses and programs are believed to make a good impression on Kellogg MBA interviewers as candidates have stated.
- The interview is a tiny part of the Kellogg application and holds only about 15% of the overall decision, so you can expect that the interview will mostly consist of generic MBA-related questions.
- Most of the questions at a Kellogg interview are straight out of your resume, so be sure to prepare everything you have mentioned in your CV.
- A good tip provided by previously interviewed candidates is to add a more personal touch to your responses when answering behavioral questions.
