A Master Guidebook To Crack The
Toughest Masters Interviews
Answer tips Sample Answers Question Database
Want to Ace Your Masters Interview?
Congratulations you have made it so far
After months of slogging to get your entire application together, you have finally bagged the COVETED B-SCHOOL INTERVIEW!

Well, in all fairness, if the school has invited you for an interview this means that they are interested in your profile.

Now what it really comes down to is if you can convince the school that you are a good fit for their program during a personal interaction.
However, they say that the last mile is always the hardest. Even after putting together an impressive application, a lot of candidates end up giving subpar interviews - either due to lack of preparedness, or inaccessibility to the right resources.
Below are a few of the most prominent reasons for rejection --
Un-Structured Answers
Answers that are not definitive and backed with examples is as good as a dead conversation. When it comes to B-School
interviews, there is a purpose behind each question and the majority of the candidates fail to recognize it.
You will be surprised to know that even a simple question like " Tell me something about yourself" has a
definitive purpose behind it
( most candidates answer this one quite randomly, leading to a bad first impression).
If you do not have the right structure and answering strategy, this will be a ticket to a rejection letter.
Being Caught Off-Guard With Abstract Questions
Interviews are designed to dig deep into various aspects of your life, hence you can expect a heterogeneous mix of questions From something as straightforward as ”Tell me something about your internship” to something as complex as ” How do you measure internationality“.Applicants are often caught off-guard with competency and guestimate questions, which tend to be a bit more complex in nature and end up fumbling or giving random answers.
The conundrum of too short or too long Answers
While a set of candidates stick to giving 30-second answers, others digress and ramble on for minutes ( Especially for descriptive questions like “Walk me through your resume”) The timing for each answer depends upon the nature of questions ( Eg: Competency questions tend to be more descriptive than profile based questions so answers should be timed accordingly)
Preparing You For All Kinds Of Questions
We have analyzed 45+ Interviews from the top 25 schools worldwide, to identify the pattern of the questions

Naman Shah, Admitted to LBS
I was travelling to Mumbai for an Interview with an LBS Alumni and I was super nervous about what would be asked.I bought the video guide just a week before my interview and I have no words to articulae how much it helped me. I was a little intimated by the compreheive question list but as I listed to Abhyank expain how to answer these questions with sample answers, I began to build confidence. I did my homwork, practiced with the mock questions given in the course ,and I was able to land an admit to LBS. Kudos to the Team !
Zhang Li,Admitted to Duke Furqua
Amazing guide! On the day of the interview, I was pleasantly surprised (not to mention relieved) to see that most of the interview questions overlapped with the ones given in the E-Book. I especailly loved their goal based section, as being an international applicant I was having difficulty in justiying how moving to a different country would help me in achieving my long term goals. Duke would not have been possible without this :)
Alexender, Admitted to HEC Paris
I used the Video Guide for my SAI Interviews and the ROI was so worth it! Right from Previous Interview Questions to answering and brainstroming tips to sample answers, the guide covered everything. In case you are still contemplating, I would strongly suggest you to not miss out on this. I even upgraded my pack to include the mock interview - The result was worth it, I got into HEC!
