Master of Management in Analytics at McGill University is a full-time,12 to 18 months and begins in summer. The students must complete the course’s 45 credits to get the degree. Program and Curriculum of McGill University MMA

McGill’s Master of Management in Analytics has an intensive full-time 1 to 1.5-year course. The 1-year course is for students who want to master the degree’s core modules of MMA: Advanced Statistics, Technology, and Business Strategy. The 1.5-year course is for students who wish to graduate from the core modules and an internship with professional experience.

Mc Gill’s MMA consists of three modules –

Core Module

This 21-credit module’s goals are to improve your statistical problem-solving skills and provide the technical foundations of:

  • Data analytics

The Complementary Course Module

The complementary 15-credit courses are intended to introduce students to various subjects like talent and network analytics, pricing, security, retailing, supply chain, healthcare, and marketing. Examples of courses are:

Eligibility and Requirements (How to get into McGill University MMA) 


Recent graduates with shown mathematical abilities and a keen interest in analytics are ideal candidates for the Master of Management in Analytics degree at McGill University.

  • Undergraduate and academic qualifications with a degree in a related discipline (such as engineering, computer science, statistics, business). 
  • An average of 60% in 12th grade and 3.2 GPA or Grade B in the undergraduate degree (For Indians).
  • Applicants must submit the GMAT or GRE, except those who already hold a graduate or undergraduate degree from a Canadian or US university. The minimum score for admission is 630 on GMAT or its equivalent in GRE.
  • English Language Proficiency (The scores required in IELTS is 6.5 and TOEFL is 86).
  • No prior work experience is required.

Candidates’ native language is not English, and for those who did not obtain their degree in an English-speaking country, the TOEFL or IELTS is required. Unless you’ve acquired an English degree from a recognised institution, even if you belong to a non-English speaking country, you may be exempted from submitting proof of language proficiency in English. Meanwhile, The CV should be one page with up-to-date information about your educational background and a summary of course work highlighting your quantitative skills. Other than this, it should also mention your employment history in reverse chronological order. Finally, you should include any additional relevant information you think should be added to your resume.

Letter of Recommendation for McGill University MMA

You are required to submit at least two letters of recommendation as supporting documents for McGill’s Master in Management program. On the application form, you need to provide the names and institutional email addresses of two referees who can evaluate your abilities. It is suggested that you ask a professor or employer who knows you & works nicely. Once your application is submitted, McGill will contact the referees directly and request them to upload their references for you.

The referees should be individuals who have judged/assessed your performance and potential in past or present.
