  2. J1 Exchange Visitor Visa – This type of visa is applicable to lecturers and scholars visiting the country as a part of an exchange program. Their reason to visit may involve a research fellowship or a 10-month long vocational program.
  3. M1 Vocational/Non-Academic Student Visa – the M1 visa and F1 visa share the same application process. The difference between M1 and F1 is that M1 visas are stamped and its holders cannot overstay the time period allocated to them.

Having applied to a school of the students liking and gaining an offer letter from them along with an I-20 form, the students can now begin the process to apply for the visa that best applies to them. The online SEVIS fees need to be paid after which the DS-160 form will be provided to you.
