The Master of Science in Quantitative Finance is a specially designed program to prepare pre-experience students with strong skills in mathematics, engineering, science and technology for the rapidly evolving field of finance. Program and Curriculum

The Masters in Quantitative finance program is jointly offered by NYU Stern and NYU Shanghai. It equips students with technical and quantitative skills that will help them to excel in the modern tech-driven world. The program commences with a Summer term at NYU Stern in New York City followed by Fall and Spring terms at NYU Shanghai. Leading faculty from both hubs help students to delve into complex material and attain knowledge of of principal concepts and methodologies.

Capstone Project

This project culminates the program and connects students with real-world practice. During the capstone, students work in small teams to apply the analytical techniques they’ve learned in class to solve a case situation presented by a corporate client.

As part of your program, you will attend an international trip to Shanghai and complete your Fall and Spring terms at NYU Shanghai.
