Working after studies
As an international student studying in Canada, you are considered a temporary resident and are supposed to leave once you have completed your studies.
But who wants to do that?
Temporary Work Visa
If you wish to work after your studies in Canada, duration of the course will have a direct impact on the length of your work permit in Canada. As per the eligibility clause, the course duration must be more than eight months.
Taking an example, If you have studied in a Canadian University for nine months, a work permit may be issued for a period of nine months.
And, If you have studied for two years or more than a work permit for three years may be issued.
This Visa option can be renewed once it's expired if you wish to work further at Canada.

Canadian Experience Class
This program is for those who already have experience living and working in Canada and who have adapted to the Canadian society to settle in Canada as permanent residents. The program is the best fit for temporary foreign workers in Canada.
You need to have prior work experience in Canada in one of three mentioned categories -
- Managerial position(classified as NOC Skill Type 0) OR
- Technical or skilled trade job (classified as NOC Skill Type B).
In order to be eligible for the program: -
- Need to have one year of full-time work experience with 30 working hours per week. AND
- Need to be approved by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, such as the IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF.
Quebec Experience Class
International students those who have studied in Quebec and completed a Bachelors, Vocational, Master's level program with intermediate proficiency in French are eligible under this program without any work experience.
Living in the Canada
The Cost of Living in Canada is affordable as compared to many other countries. However, this varies according to the place of study in Canada. Cities like Toronto or Vancouver can be very expensive.
Most universities offer on-campus dwellings for international students, the cost of on-campus housing varies from university to university but it is expensive as compared to living off-campus.
Generally, the cost of living per month for food and other expenses is around CA$600-800 (~US$450-600) and including accommodation, the cost goes up to CA$10,000-15,000 per year (~US$7,550-11,300).
The Tuition fees normally range between $45,000 to $60,000.
