Application Essays (Rotman MBA)

Essays for Rotman school of management require a unique spunk, something that they describe as the ‘spike factor’. All the written essays and documents are to be submitted as one pdf document. Moreover, there are two video essays that are compulsory in nature and have a time written response component.

Explain your spike factor (something unique about yourself) that you believe will contribute to the Rotman community and is aligned with Rotman values. (up to 1000 words)* Optional – Please upload 1-3 of your ‘spikiest’ pictures to the supplemental items section of your application here. Note: Your photos must be uploaded as a single PDF.

There is a video interview component in the application where the interviewer would ask 2 essay based questions. Students have to answer the question.  Other application information

Candidates have to undergo an interview session as well in order to discuss their background, interests, goals and inspiration.
