University of St. Gallen’s MBA programme is founded in a rigorous academic experience focusing on integrative thinking. This is supported by career development courses, career services and corporate interactions that are dedicated exclusively to the MBA. As Part of your MBA Course requirements you are required to complete one of three projects:
Option 1: Corporate Stratergy Project– Spend 10-12 weeks dedicated to a strategic issue in a company; MBAs receive a small fee, usually around CHF 3,000 per month
Option 2: Business Plan – Have the option of writing a business plan instead of undertaking a project, if this better aligns with your post-MBA career goals
Option 3: Research Paper – Have the option of writing a research paper instead of undertaking a project, if this better aligns with your post-MBA career goals
In the Full-time MBA, you attend the Company Insights evenings, often alongside our regionally-located Part-time MBAs with whom you can network. Further corporate interactions occur during our Basel, Munich and Zurich Days, plus Industry Insights. In the Spring it is possible to be a part of Take-Off Day where you are interviewed by companies for Corporate Projects and post-MBA positions, again alongside our Part-time MBAs. We will create opportunities for you to network with companies, and equip you with the understanding of how to seize those opportunities for your professional benefit

Average Work Experience
Average Class Size
- Bachelors degree of at least three years from a recognized university.
- A minimum of three years of full-time post-Bachelor degree work experience is required, with at least four years of work experience recommended.
Applicants for the Full-time MBA programme are required to demonstrate their numerical, grammatical and critical thinking abilities. This can be done in one of the following three ways:
a. Submit a competitive GMAT or GRE score no older than five years (no minimum score)
b. Complete our MBA admissions test with a minimum score of 80%
c. Hold one or more of the following qualifications: PhD, CFA Level 2, CPA, or a similar qualification assessed on a case-by-case basis
