University of Windsor Essay Questions

College application essays are a wonderful opportunity to address your major accomplishments and make a strong impression on the Selection Committee. For the application process, the University of Windsor requires you to submit a Letter of Intent (or Statement of Purpose). As a result, it is critical to emphasise your motivation for the aforementioned degree, whether MBA or MM. The length of the essay response should be no more than one page (A-4). As a result, you must cover your motivation in 500-750 words. Great essay answers can be written with careful planning. It is advised that you begin writing your essays several months before the deadline in order to produce an outstanding application. You should begin your essays with an engaging paragraph that will pique the reader’s interest. Universities are looking for uniqueness and quality of thought, so don’t try to arrange your essay around ideas or concepts that have been used hundreds of times before; instead, base it on your own opinions and try to personalise your story. Make a plan before you start writing, divide your essay into sections, and decide on the main arguments you want to portray.

University of Windsor MiM and MBA Essay Questions and Answer Tips

The Letter of Intent should be written with perfection and clarity of thought. It serves as a writing sample and can also function as your interview if one is not necessary. It is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself and define who you are, your background, and what is important to you.

More crucially, the Letter of Intent allows you to articulate why you want to pursue graduate studies. Why this particular school and/or programme? What are your motivations for pursuing graduate studies? What do you intend to do with this degree? Admission committees look at the Letter of Intent to evaluate how well the applicant knows the school and justifies their reasons for attending.

The goal of the Letter of Intent is to convey information regarding the student’s journey to pursuing graduate education in this specific field. Thus, the following points should be included in the statement:

(1) Explain why you want to go to graduate school

(2) Relevant job experience and academic education that has prepared you for graduate study in the discipline

(3) Qualities and strengths that make you uniquely qualified for graduate studies in the discipline and within the graduate programme to which you are applying

(4) A study plan for graduate school

(5) Future professional goals

Letter of Recommendation for University of Windsor

An acceptable Letter of Recommendation (LOR) is one submitted by an independent individual who can review your background and abilities in relation to the intended programme. Ideally, each recommender’s LoR should highlight various attributes. Your letter of recommendation may also be utilised to evaluate your financial aid application. As a result, a strong LoR is necessary. The University of Windsor would require around three letters of recommendation, so make sure to approach three separate recommenders with varying levels of interaction. The key point to remember is that the recommendation letter should add value to your application and demonstrate your relevance to the programme.

LOR Samples for University of Windsor MiM and MBA Programs

If you have just completed a graduate degree programme, one of your letters of recommendation should come from your programme supervisor. You should contact a professor, project leader or a mentor, with whom you had a connection during your undergraduate days.

A non-academic reference or a Professional LOR should come from someone who has worked directly with you as a supervisor. You must request a recommender from your company who has personally supervised your performance for a Professional LOR. The referee must be aware of the tasks you completed and the problems you encountered.
