Here are the notable alumni from LBS MBA program;
1. Chris Hitchen
Chairman, Border to Coast Pension Partnership (BCPP)
Chris was formerly the CEO of the Railways Pension Trustee Company and its operating subsidiaries, RPMI and Railpen Investments. He is also a Director of the Pensions Quality Mark, which promotes higher standards in DC pension schemes. From 2010-2015 Chris was a Trustee Member of NEST, the UK-wide DC scheme, and is a former Chairman of the National Association of Pension Funds and a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with over 25 years experience in pensions and investments.
2. Henrik Jepsen
Head of Asset Management, Danske Bank Wealth Management
He holds a Master of Science (MSC) in Economics and Management from LBS. Henrik joined Danske Bank’s new Wealth Management organization on 1 August 2016 to head the Asset Management division. Asset Management has assets worth approximately USD 105bn (DKK 697bn) under management for both institutional and retail clients.
3. David Kabiller
CFA Co-Founder, AQR Capital Management
Prior to AQR, David was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he established and maintained relationships with many of the largest pension and endowment funds in North America. He is a member of Northwestern University’s board of trustees and chairman of the Executive Council of the university’s International Institute for Nanotechnology. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the AQRAMI at LBS and has served on the board of trustees for the Terra Foundation for American Art.
4. Richard Lacaille
Global Chief Investment Officer, State Street Global Advisors
Rick has a BSc (Hons) in Operational Research from Lancaster University and an MSc in Econometrics from London Guildhall University. Rick Lacaille, Executive Vice President, is the Global Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of State Street Global Advisors and a member of the firm's Executive Management Group. In his role as CIO, Rick is responsible for all investment management activity at SSGA, including research and trading.
5. Kasper Lorenzen
Chief Investment Officer, PFA
Chief Investment Officer Kasper A. Lorenzen is a member of PFA´s Group Executive Board and a member of the Advisory Council for the AQR Asset Management Institute at London Business School. Kasper A. Lorenzen was a speaker at the AQR Asset Management Institute’sInsight Summit 2017 conference.
Kasper rejoined PFA in 2019. Before that, he was with ATP as Chief Investment Officer (2016 – 2019) and Head of Portfolio Construction (2013 – 2016). Kasper started his career in the mid-'90s as an interest rate option trader at Nordea Markets.
6. Dame Elizabeth Corley
Senior Advisor, Allianz Global Investors
Elizabeth was CEO of Allianz Global Investors, initially for Europe and then globally, from 2005 to 2016, and continues to act as a senior advisor to the firm. She was previously at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (formerly Mercury Asset Management) and Coopers & Lybrand. Additionally, she is a trustee of the British Museum, where she chairs the Investment Sub-Committee.
In 2016, Elizabeth received an honorary doctorate from the London Institute of Banking and Finance (formerly IFS University College); in July 2019, she received an Honorary Fellowship from the London Business School.
