  • The next step in the process is the purchase of the GIC or Guaranteed Investment Certificate. The amount is CAD$ 10,200. The CAD$ 200 is a compulsory administrative fee. The first CAD$ 2000 is paid to the student right after arrival and the next CAD$ 8,000 is paid in 12 equal installments throughout the year. The purpose of this certificate is to adjust the first year living expenses. There are several participating banks and you can choose any one of your choices.

  • The next step is to provide all the necessary documents for the final application. This includes – application form, valid passport with biodata page, family information form, acceptance letter from the university, representative form (IMM 5476), proof of English, academic documents and transcripts, receipt of the payment of tuition fee, evidence of GIC purchase, student questionnaire and the medical certificate. 
  • Once you receive the stamped passport, you are ready to travel to Canada for your degree in HRM.
